A nice and heavy French gothic iron chandelier, circa 1870. We found this chandelier on our most recent buying trip to France and it is definitely on-of-a-kind! All the fine craftsmanship you would expect from an antique French chandelier. We have had it re-wired and it is ready to go. Please view the detail images and let us know if you have any questions. This is a fabulous Italian painted chandelier. It is carved from wood and has nicely cast gesso detail. The arms of the chandelier are iron and the gesso has been formed around the iron. It is hard to determine the age but most likely it was made in the early 20th century. Fabulous colors and style! We have had it re-wired and it is ready to go! Measuring 33H x 28W.

This wonderful French iron chandelier has the finest detail and craftsmanship! The pictures really speak for themselves and you will see the fine work involved! This level of quality was only done by the French over 100 years ago! We estimate this one to have been made around 1870. Very heavy and in excellent condition. It measures 44H x 33W. It has been re-wired and is ready to go!
