Extremely RARE Pairpoint Corp. Tall Candlestick/Candlelamp Shade (only). This item is unsigned as far as we can tell, but we absolutely GUARANTEE this item to be by Pairpoint and produced between 1907 & 1930. This item has a Pink Shaded Hand Painted Interior much like their Ambero line (usually the way this shade is found as ambero). The exterior has a wonderful Glue/Chipped Ice ground decoration. The exterior has 3 Large Dragonfly's Hand Painted and then covered in CORALENE! We absolutely guarantee that this is original Coralene work. The Dragonflys are Green and Pink as well and hover over reeds of tall grass and Pink and green Cattails.. The overall effect is a Landscape or Swampscape if you will. The way that the decoration is done you can see where the water has small waves painted into it, creating one of the most beautiful shade you will ever find. The shade itself has its original Brass fitter collar and has never been removed or retouched. The shade stands 8 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" across the top. The fitter collar measures 1 3/4" across. This type of shade is normally found on Pairpoints tall Mahogany wood Candlestick base. This item has NO chips, cracks or repairs.
