Beautiful and EARLY Ivory or Bone and Hand Painted Silk Ladies Fan! This lovely item when opened measures @ 20" across and 11 1/2" high. There is a Brass ring with Rhinestone at the joining end of the fan. The Hand Painted decor shows Dark Blue Swallows near a Brick Structure and may well represent the Swallows of Capistrano and their yearly migration to the lovely Southern Vacation Destination! This item is most likely of French Origins and absolutely 19th Century in Vintage. There are small tears and separations to the silk as well as some minor discoloration to the silk back, but as expected due to age. No repairs to this item and it is as found condition as shown in our images. Shipping is $7.50 plus $2.50 Insurance in the Continental U.S.
