Greentown Extremely *RARE* Chocolate Glass Cactus Pattern Pedestal Sugar/Sweetmeat! This is one of the most difficult items to find intact in the entire Cactus Glass pattern line of shapes. Jacob Rosenthal developed "Chocolate Glass" for the Indiana Tumbler & Goblet Company (aka Greentown) and was released to the public in May of 1902. The very successful line was the star production of the firm until it was destroyed by a Catastrophic Fire on June 13, 1903. As with almost all of Original Greentown Chocolate Glass that survives today, this item may have in the making small air bubbles, dark ash spots or streaks withing the glass as well as edge stress lines created during the cooling process all of which are not considered damage and are natural occurring anomalies inherent to the brittle Greentown Chocolate Glass. This item stands 9 1/2" tall and measures 4 1/2" across at the widest point. This item is in SUPERB CONDITION with no chips, cracks or repairs. Ground Insured UPS Shipping is $15.00 in the Continental U.S.

Greentown *VERY RARE* Holly Amber Golden Agate LARGE LOW ROUND SERVING TRAY by Indiana Goblet & Tumbler Company. Rich, Lovely transparent Amber Glass with highlights of Opalescent streaks throughout the glass show off the delicate Band of Holly and Leaves/Berries raised pattern as well as the very delicate Glass beaded rim and bands. Jacob Rosenthal designed the Highly Sought After Holly Golden Agate Line for Indiana Goblet and its production started in January 1903 and ended on June 13 1903 when a Catastrophic Fire destroyed the factory which was never rebuilt! This means that the Holly Amber "Golden Agate" line was in production for just 6 months and is very hard to find and is one of the Prize Jewels of most American Art Glass and Pattern Glass collections worldwide. This Stunning Round Tray measures 9 1/4" across and lays 3/4" high. This item is in exceptional condition with No chips, cracks or repairs. Ground Insured UPS Shipping is $15.00 in the Continental U.S.

The rich Amber colored ground is decorated with broadly painted Green Dahlia around the entire vase. The base of the vase is impressed with the Rookwood Reverse RP and 14 Flame Logo, XXVI for the year 1926, Shape #356 E and the under glaze painted Artist Initials H.E.W. for Harriet E. Wilcox. The vase stands 6 3/4" tall and measures 3 1/4" across at the widest point. There are only 2 intersecting craze lines from the making on the body of the vase. Otherwise the vase is Uncrazed. Absolutely Beautiful Rookwood Jewel Porcelain vase painted by Lenore Asbury. Ms. Asbury is one of Rookwoods most sought after artists and one can see why in this cabinet sized Gem. Rookwood Porcelains Cabinet size vases are scarce and this vase has Delicate Red Roses among sprays of Green Leaves. The Blue at the rim gently drips down to the Ivory Ground of this vase as intended by the artist. There is only ONE craze line near the top half, it is not a hairline, but a lone craze line as this glaze is often found with all over crazing, this is a desirable condition!. There is a small bruise at the base with an edge glaze flake. This is small and can be easily restored should the new owner wish to. We feel that it does not detract as it is very hard to see and not as crisp as our image shows in the increased size of the vase images we provide. The vase stands 5 1/2" tall and measures just 2 1/2" across at the widest point. The base is impressed with the Rookwood Reverse RP and 14 Flame Logo, XXVIII for the year 1928, Shape #2954 and a Black Underglaze Painted L.A. for the artist Lenore Asbury. Other than the noted condition, this item has No chips, cracks and NO repairs. Ground Insured UPS Shipping is $10.00 in the Continental U.S.

*SOLD*

Stunningly Beautiful Marked REAL "LOETZ" Czecho-Slovakia Blue Iridescent Cattail on Verrie deSoie Bubble Glass Body. This item measures 7 1/8" X 4 3/4". This item is marked on the base in the Blue Iridescent Finish a square and the words MADE IN CZECHO-SLOVAKIA. To see this mark please view the wonderful Eddie Scheepers Web Site at www.loetz.com and go to second page of Identifying, top of page second mark. The lower section of this item along with the applied Glass Cattails and Leaves are covered in a very dark and richly iridescent Blue Finish, while the body of the vase is of a controlle trapped Air Bubble Glass which is finished in a satin White iridescent finish much like that produced at Steuben and called Verrie deSoie (Glass of Silk) which it truly is. This item has a restoration to the section with the Cattail, which appears to have been re-applied to the vase and a small Blue Bead has been added to hide a small piece of missing glass. This was a very ingenious solution to its restoration, as well as having a few scratches to the glass next to the Cattail. This is not too noticeable until very closely viewed. I am sure that a proper restoration can conceal this completely and make it invisible to the naked eye. This is a great chance to own an item that would normally sell for well over $1,500.00++ if you were lucky enough to find one. This item is an original Blown and Cut from the top, also known as a Sheer top, without any restorations or chips to the top rim or Blue applied foot. No other damage, cracks etc. Shipping is $11.00 in the Continental U.S.
