Beautiful Art Deco, Art Modern marked Romany Sparta Whale Plate. This deep plate has 3 stylized incised Whales leaping over the Waves. The stunning and advanced Fulper Like glaze shades from Blue to Green. The plate measures 9 3/4" across and sits 1 1/8" high. The reverse is marked under glaze in raised letters "THE SPARTA CERAMICS COMPANY UNITED STATES CERAMIC TILE CO ROMANY SPARTA". This is a truly beautiful and decorative item. Cute and Whimsical Fully Marked Brayton Laguna Calif. K-26 and artist initial L in yellow, Peasant Woman Shaker. This item stands 5 1/2" tall and measures 3 1/2" across the base. The colors are bold and striking and the molded decoration crisp. There is a small less than 1/4" flake/chip on the edge of her head wear, no harm and very hard to see as it is in the white, and shows also as white. A Fun little Black Americana item! Nice Art Deco Styled vase by FRANKOMA. This item has a Frosted Yellowish/Tan mottled Matte Finish on Red clay. The vase shape is very similar to the Flash Gordon Rocket Ship of the 1920's.
