| EXTREMELY *RARE* is the only way to describe this Stunning work of Art Glass. This Fantastic Acid Achieved Satin Glass Figural Paperweight of a Sitting Boy is marked by the Master Mold Maker Heinrich Hoffaman by way of the small Open Wing Butterfly Mark he used on his masterpieces. H. Hoffman was a Master Mold Maker with a shop in Paris France circa 1920+ and was a contemporary of the great Rene Lalique. Mr. Hoffman, well known for his Wonderful Nude Perfume Bottle Daubers and Dresser Items produces this great item by means of his Mold, which was then sent to Bohemia where his wife ran one of the top Glass Company's of their day, to have the item created. This wonderful item measures 3 3/4" X 2 3/4" X 2". The body of the figure is Frosted Satin Glass while the factory polished base is gloss as well as the underside as seen in the images. The back of the base has the Heinrich Hoffman impressed and Satin Finished small Open Winged Butterfly, which was Mr. Hoffmans Signature. This item has No chips, cracks or repairs.
