| Tremendous Victorian Satin Glass Vase in the style of the Morgan Vase shading from Deep Raspberry to soft Pink/White Glass cased over a White Opaque Satin Glass Interior. This item is most likely by Thomas Webb of England or of Bohemian Origins circa 1880-1895. The vase is an original Shear Top as there is no pontil on the base. The top rim has much of its original gold enameling as well. This vase stands 10 1/2" tall and measures 4 3/4" across at its widest point. Similar to the American Peachblow Morgan Vase, this item is larger and does not shade to amber or yellow. The form and shape is very similar to the original Mary Morgan vase which sold in for $18,000 in the 19th century and inspired many companies both American and European to attempt to copy the wonderful Chinese Peachblow Porcelain original.. This Glass is highly collectible and items with the rich color that this particular vase has are among some of the most sought after. There are a couple of extremely tiny flecks to the surface of this vase but are hard to see and are in our opinion not detracting or distracting to this wonderful item. No chips, cracks or repairs. Shipping is $11.00 in the Continental U.S. | ||
