| Very Unusual Shaped American Art Pottery Standard Glaze Vase! This item stands 12 3/4" tall and measures 6" across at the widest point. The vase is decorated in boldly and broadly painted Flowers on a Green/Brown ground. The top has a very unusual, tight opening, leading us to believe that it was intended to be used with flowers like the Peony, long stemmed and large headed. The base shows the Standard Glaze over Slip Decorated Yellow Clay body. There is a very small Glaze Only flake that is filled in and matches the rest of the dark ground on the very top of the vase you can see this in the close up view of the top of the item. There are also 3 small what we believe to be fingerprints underglaze, which have dark glaze filling them (from the factory) and not an after repair.
