| MAGNIFICENT Antique Pate sur Pate Art Nouveau Vase. This low relief designed vase has 2 extremely detailed flying Putti with trails of smoke and Beard from the Stunning Figural Handle with the face of the Man in the Moon in Low Relief and equally fine detail. The base color for the vase is a medium Green while the decoration is Carved Back and Slip Applied in White and Pale Mint Green. The vase stands 10 1/2" tall and measures 4 1/2" across at the widest point. The back of the vase has a very small area where the glaze has a somewhat orange peel texture to it but it is in the making and of no harm and I mention it for accuracy sake only as id does not distract or detract from this wonderful work of art. The base has a number of Marks which include "3130 C (two horizontal line with a dot above in green) XI 2" The quality of this work is absolutely of high order and the porcelain itself is First Quality as well.
