| This is a Rare Lamp Base in both its decoration and its shape, which I did not find in the Durand book by Edward Meschi. There is a similarly decorated vase on page 101, #444 however the banded color is different. This Lamp is best identified as "Amber Crystal Crackle banded with Blue-Black and White". The glass is in MINT condition and the original brass fitting is on the bottom. The top riser with two sockets has been replaced with a single socket, which is easily corrected. This is a wonderful example for the serious Durand collector. The glass height is 11" . | ||
