An unusual size Old Sheffield Plate Coffee Urn of shaped globe form on a square based stand with lion mask and ring handles, in a reeded design frame with an engraved neo classical shield on either side, one engraved with the crest of a demi peacock with wings displayed and motto Clementia Et Aminis … By clemency and courage, for Maule, engraved IRM in fancy script; the spout with spigot and wooden finial. Made in England circa 1790. Height-: approximately 9.5 inches.

Each on three knuckle feet, leaf capped scroll handles, the bodies of plain deep welled form, engraved with the crest of a lion sejant grasping a battle axe in foliate cartouche, everted scalloped rims. The oval shaped Salts on four claw and ball feet, the bodies of wriggle work and bead decoration with pierced oval and foliate panels, engraved on one panel with a crest of a hand grasping a cross, upper bead rim border. Height: approximately 2 1/8 inches. Length: approximately 3.25 inches. Total Silver Weight: approximately 6.18 oz.
