An Antique Continental Silver (.830 std.) Inkstand Made in Sweden Circa 1930 Maker's Mark probably G.A.B for Guldsmedsaktiebolaget possibly designed by Jacob Angman. The rounded triangular shaped Inkstand on three plain bun supports with plain platform fronting a deep and wide pen well, with a lobate fluted melon shaped covered inkwell, with plain circular dome shaped cover with ball finial, the platform with an outer "bamboo" style narrow border. Each on three knuckle feet, leaf capped scroll handles, the bodies of plain deep welled form, engraved with the crest of a lion sejant grasping a battle axe in foliate cartouche, everted scalloped rims.
