This is a vintage Gold plated & Agate Dunhill Rollagas lighter, made in Switzerland, & dating to around the 1970's.

The lighter will require a service as, although the lid snaps open / closed & there is a good spark, it leaks gas from the valve when filling (a very common problem with vintage Dunhill lighters).

The Dunhill Rollagas, first introduced in 1956, is a design icon that needs no introduction. This example is finished in a 'diamond' engine turned engraving, with a polished Brown Agate inset to the top of the lid.

The base is embossed with ''dunhill', 'MADE IN SWITZERLAND', & 'US RE24163 / PATENTED'.

Condition is good, with minimal plate loss to the edges, a fine sprung lid, & a smooth roller. As mentioned, the lighter has a leak when filling, so will require a service.

Overall, a fine, vintage example of this iconic luxury lighter, & very unusual with the Agate mounted lid.
