This is a high quality Swiss made, motor car dashboard clock with an 8 day movement, by Jaeger, & dating to the 1920's or 30's.

The clock is housed in an aluminium or alloy case, and has a very Art Deco style bezel with a concentric circle design, & a thick, beveled glass crystal.

The face or dial of the clock is in white with black Roman numerals, & is signed at 12 0'clock with 'EIGHT DAYS' over the 'JAEGER PARIS' device, and 'SWISS MADE' at 6 o'clock.

The clock is wound via a 'crown' located on the bezel at 8 o'clock which, when extended, also adjusts the hands.

The rear of the case has a regulator lever, & two large threaded lugs, by which the clock would have been fixed to the dashboard.

Condition is fine, the clock winds, runs, & keeps excellent time. There is a slight stain on the inside of the crystal at 9 to 11 0'clock (the dial is totally unmarked, but we have not attempted to remove the movement to clean the crystal), & there are a couple of small inscriptions to the rear of the case including '22/1/LEPT' (service marks ?).

The diameter is approx 3" or 7.7 cm (across the face), & 3 5/8" or 9.4 cm (across the bezel).

Overall, a fine, High Quality vintage car clock, in great working condition, from a renowned maker.
