This is an 'Art Vannes Glass' vase, in the form of a fish, & dating to around the 1960's.

The 'fish' is made of a heavy, clear glass & has protruding eyes & mouth, a curved tail, & it's fins act as the base.

Art Vannes, located in the village of Vannes-le-Chantel in France, was in operation from around 1950 until 1970, & the vase carries the acid etched 'ART Vannes FRANCE' lozenge mark to the base.

The vase is approx 16 cm long, 9.5 cm high (at the highest point), & is very narrow at 4.5 cm.

The vase is heavy for it's size at 520 g.

Condition is fantastic with no chips, cracks, or restoration. There is the expected surface wear to the base.
