This is a pair of Victorian candle snuffers & a snuffer tray, both made of brass, & dating to around the mid to late 19th Century.

The snuffers have a spring assisted scissor action, & stand on three legs with bun feet.

The snuffer tray is made from embossed brass & has an Art Nouveau look to it.

Condition of the snuffers is fine, with a very good & strong spring. The tray, however, is only fair with spots of tarnishing & five very small splits to the rim, although it is still structurally strong.

The snuffers are approx 6 5/8" in length (approx 16.8cm), & the tray is approx 9 1/8" in length (approx 23.2cm).
