This is a scarce earthenware lemon squeezer & jug, made by Shelley in the Orange Harmony finish, & dating to between 1925 - 1945. The base of the jug is printed with the Shelley 'Shield' & ENGLAND mark (1925 - 45), & the hand painted numbers '8890/A' ? and the letter 'N'. Condition of the squeezer is Fine, with no chips, cracks, or any other damage at all. The jug has a very small (5mm) interior chip to the glaze, just next to the spout (unseen with the squeezer on). The squeezer stands approx 3 3/4" tall (approx 9.5cm). |
