This is an original artist signed proof drypoint coloured etching, entitled 'The Guildhall, Exeter' by R.H.Smallridge & signed in pencil, & dating to around the early to mid 20th Century.

The coloured drypoint etching is an architectural study, & is signed in pencil to the lower right. The lower left of the plate is embossed 'ACADEMY PROOF'.

The etching has been mounted & framed under glass, with the rear of the frame having a gallery label stating the title & artist, & Limited Edition.

Condition of the plate is fine, with no damage or fading, as is the mount. The ornate gilded frame has a few small spots of damage to the moulding, but is otherwise fine.

The visible image (plate & sheet) measures approx 9 1/4" x 13 1/4" (approx 23.5cm x 33.6cm), whilst the frame measures approx 19" x 22" (approx 48.2cm x 55.8cm).
