Glorious early Matilde Poulat pendant/brooch. MATL pieces continue to be the most desirable pieces of mid Century Mexican silver. However, it is often found as new MATL, newer MATL, MS-12 MATL, questionable MATL. However, it is a rare occurrence to come across the early real, authentic, exquisite Matilde Poulat MATL pieces. This is indeed one such an occurrence. This elegant piece is not one that has been converted into a pendant, it is an authentic original pendant with original bezel as we ...click for details

Spectacular early 20th C repousse belt buckle. This amazing two piece interlocking buckle is breathtaking. Each side measures 3-1/2" by 2". The pieces interlock by inter-crossing the tail of the mythical Quetzalcoatl. A central deity for the Aztec goes back to the ancient Mayan that worshiped the plumed serpent (Kukulcan). The mid century silver depictions of Quetzalcoatl are from Mexico are often referred to as dragons but they are indeed depicting the great Quetzalcoatl.

Amazing Work of Art. This is an artist hand wrought piece made in the 1950s to the 1960s. The necklace is amazing. Though does not seem like a comfortable piece,
the necklace is perfectly wearable and you can not feel it when you wear it. Very well made. Depicting a 3D coral reef with a pearl in the center. Tane has always made certain very special pieces that are designed by Mexico's famous artist. This necklace appears to be one of such pieces. The large fine natural pearl in the c ...click for details

This is a monumental and quite rare bracelet by Felipe Martinez Piedra y Plata. Comparable only to the best pieces by Aguilar, this bracelet is fabulous! The stone is smooth, well polished but not without natural inclusions that make the piece even more interesting. Martinez was a perfectionist and had a strong sense of design. The central cabochon shows a line across it but this is not a flaw or crack, it is a natural inclusion of the stone. Measures 6-3/4" in wearable length and one fu ...click for details
