Extraordinary large bracelet by M. Velazquez. Not much is known about this artist. However, the characteristics of his work indicate that he probably worked in Mexico City. This is also likely to be a pre-eagle piece. Perhaps for ht early to mid 1040s. Gorgeous 3D frontal panel depicting a pre-columbian nobleman. A complex and rich figural design and excellent craftsmanship. The piece has a box clasp. 2 1/4" wide on the front and 1 1/2" wide on the sides. COLLECTOR QUALITY
