This is a very, very unique piece by Antonio. Shaped as an oval. The specific type of oval is also called prolate spheroid. It evokes the shape of an enlarged seed. The piece has original velvet cord and is in excellent condition. The hunter scene is quite interesting and resembles the cave drawings of Lascaux in France. It is a mystery why or how these designs were conceived for the elegant jewelry of Antonio Pineda. These pieces were made c1960. Pendant is 4.5" long and 2" wide. ...click for details
