Early Mexican Sanborns Repousse CUFF
Amazing floral cuff marked Sanborns. This bracelet was made using the finest repoussage technique. The bracelet is likely from the 1930s to the 1940s. These pieces were sold at Sanborns in the Cas de los Azulejos in the corner of San Juan de Letran and Francisco I. Madero. This first Sanborns cafe and gift shop was an important rondevu for the artist, and intellectual elite of Mid Century Mexico. Diego Rivera, Frida, Spratling and Orozco were no strangers to this quaint place. This bracelet is in excellent condition measuring 5-1/2" in wearable length with 3/4" gap and it is 1-1/4" wide at the front. COLLECTOR QUALITY
