Fred Davis Monumental BRACELET ~ Most Rare
Amazing find this is an authentic Frederick Davis bracelet. A large masquette made in carved jadeite or similar stone. Fred Davis was one of the pioneers on the use of Neo Aztec iconography in Mexican Jewelry. These masquettes are really more similar to the Teotihuacan masks that were being excavated in the 1930s. This is a piece probably dated to the 1930s or early 1940s. Fred Davis' pieces are very hard to find as of lately. This bracelet is a rare Davis, thus fitting in the category of the extremely rare find. A treasure for a collector with a medium to small wrist! THE PIECE MEASURES 2-1/4" wide and it is 6-1/2" wearable length. COLLECTOR QUALITY
