| This is a rare Mexican mixed technique silver bracelet. The piece is made by the artist Velazquez and is likely from Mexico City or its vicinity where this techniques evolved from the long colonial tradition of silversmithing. He used both incise or carving technique and gorgeous repoussage. The stone in the center is obsidian and the piece is absolutely breathtaking. Unique and yet reminiscent of the work of Matilde Poulat "MATL". This bracelet is destined to be a favorite of a fine collection. The links are carefully curved to adapt precisely to the shape of the wrist. 1-1/2" wide in the center and 7-1/8" wearable length. COLLECTOR QUALITY | |||||||||||
