| This beautiful belt buckle is part of a series of Onix Negro (Black Onyx) buckles made by Los Castillo. Like all the Los Castillo pieces this is a very nicely done work with inlaid stone over sterling silver. The Greek Key design of this belt buckle is clearly inspired in the wall designs found in the prehispanic city of Monte Alban. Well marked "Los Castillo", "Onix Negro", "Hecho en Mexico" and 15 Eagle Mark. The weight of the buckle is 28 gr (1 oz) and measures 3 cm (1-3/16”) x 5 cm (2”). VINTAGE QUALITY. | ||||||
