| There is probably no such a thing as genuine "Hong Xian" reign porcelain. This is a very fine Chinese Republic period “Dan Ping" (Gallbladder shaped vase) with a beautiful shape and rarely seen hand written "Hong Xian Nian Zhi" red enamel mark in zhuanshu. The bamboo painting is excellent, done probably by an accomplished painter which is quite typical of many porcelain vases made during the period. Condition is perfect. (note: the white dots in the middle of the body and at the neck are only flash light reflections, no damages whatsoever to the decoration). Height 13.3cm | |||||||||||||
