Exceptionally beautiful , large bronze temple bell dated to 1735. Bell decorated with geometrical patters and images of flying bodhisattvas. Rim is surrounded by floral decor with the top made in the shape of dragon heads and a kintamani gem. Bell features beautiful malachite patination and crisp detailes. It stands 65 cm tall and 36 cm wide. The sound of the bell is very fine . Bell inscribed with the names of the donors and a date Kyoho 20 th, year of rabbit

Exquisitely designed bronze hibachi on tripod base. Squash shapes decorate the hibachi's lip. Although this piece is of Japanese origin, it's design strongly parallels patterns found in African art. Dimensions: H.26.5cm, W.29cm. Very good condition.

Exceptional bronze “Shokudai”(candle holders) made by famous ninth-generation Kyoto metal artist Kanaya Gorosaburo(1836-1890). Includes an original signed and stamped darkened wooden box, as well as cotton pouches(storage of disassemble Shokudai). Excellent condition. Dimensions: H. 77.5 cm, W.28cm(plate diameter).

Fine iron Temple lantern with semi(cicada) attached to the suspension-ring. Good condition with only minor losses(age; regular exposure to the elements). Would make a nice display piece, and can still be used as a lantern. Dimensions: H.34cm, W.32cm.
