About Us

After years of wandering Asia during the 1970s and early '80s, our family had developed quite a few friendships while collecting for ourselves. A few years ago, a chance encounter with the man we used to collect from in what is now Myanmar led to the creation of our family business.

Our method is fairly simple. One of us goes and hand picks the items on site, dealing with people who are knowledgeable in their area and whom we know and trust. Upon arrival in Seattle, each item is researched to confirm the initial assessment, using outside resources and experts as necessary. finally, it appears in our shop, and for some items, here online.

Location

We are now located on Bainbridge Island, a ferry ride away from Seattle. Our address is 520 Ericksen Avenue, a liesurely walk or quick drive from downtown Winslow. While we can be available almost anytime by appointment, our normal hours are:
Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-6pm. If you are visiting the area, feel free to call or email for directions.
