This pair of doors, featuring protective ogres at the top and Nats standing atop lions(gaurdian spirits) below, would have been used as a side or possibly primary entryway to a Buddhist monastery. Dating to the early 20th century, they would have been protected from the worst of the elements by an overhang of some kind, and would have been strapped to a seperate element to turn. The lions are evidence of the British presence.
