Very fine, early Japanese Satsuma ribbed and scalloped bowl. It is from the Meiji period (1868 - 1912). Inside the bowl are 8 vignettes. Outside the bowl there are 9 vignettes. The bowl is very rich in gold. It measures 5.75” in diameter and 3.25” tall. It has readable marks. The condition is excellent except for some slight wear to the gold on the edge of the base.
Small chinese iron morter and pestel ,the morter is 2.5" tall & 2" diameter at base the pestle is 3.5" long, circa early to mid 19th century,good condition.The base has been reatached to the morter stem.
