Very fine, early Japanese Satsuma ribbed and scalloped bowl. It is from the Meiji period (1868 - 1912). Inside the bowl are 8 vignettes. Outside the bowl there are 9 vignettes. The bowl is very rich in gold. It measures 5.75” in diameter and 3.25” tall. It has readable marks. The condition is excellent except for some slight wear to the gold on the edge of the base.
This is a beautiful blue and white Japanese Imari scallopped-edge charger. It has a design of scholars and landscape. Circa late 1900's. Slight chip on base. Excellent condition.
