This 14.75" t. figurine is an important work by Ronzan Ceramics, an Italian concern founded by one of the chief Art Deco era designers for Lenci. This example is monumental in height and surely depicts the Queen of Heaven, as Mary the Madonna is shown standing atop a celestial orb, with both the heavens and her garment studded with gilt stars. There is a tiny representation of a cloud at the very base of the figure. ...click for details

This beautiful and rare vase is a 3.5” t. x 3.75” miniature. Wheel thrown, with a geometric pattern of triangles cut out (or perhaps some hand-applied onto the surface) to resemble an intricate and decorative textile. Some glaze may be inlaid as if in the manner of an enamel. Glossy aquamarine, turquoise blue-green, with a white interior.
