This 14.75" t. figurine is an important work by Ronzan Ceramics, an Italian concern founded by one of the chief Art Deco era designers for Lenci. This example is monumental in height and surely depicts the Queen of Heaven, as Mary the Madonna is shown standing atop a celestial orb, with both the heavens and her garment studded with gilt stars.
