This is an unusual example of Meric Art Ware (East Liverpool, Ohio), made in the early 1930s. It measures 10.75" tall x 8.25" x 7.5" and has medium-relief roses and ribbons on both sides--and outrageous reticulated handles that look like wings, giving the whole design an Austrian look. Glossy cobalt blue. No nicks, chips, hairlines, or repairs. Marked with the four-digit shape number 2125 and several obscure marks. |
