Roseville Pottery Futura Rare Art Deco 393-12" Vase
This rare Roseville Pottery Futura "Four Ball Vase" is shape 393-12" in this celebrated and internationally famous 1928-1929 line. The glaze on this example is exceptionally nice, with mottling in shades of pumpkin, caramel and cocoa all over, and a frothy cream-colored glaze outlining the sphere- and square-shaped vessel.

Like most (if not all) examples of this shape, there was a tight hairline at one of the top corners, which has been professional restored so exceptionally well that not only has the piece been stabilized, but it is possible to see where the restoration is ONLY under just the most perfect lighting conditions... not too bright and not too dim.

From the personal collection of yours truly, author of UNDERSTANDING ROSEVILLE POTTERY. Except as described, no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs.
