Brownhills Staffordshire Jug 1880's Aesthetic Era
This stylish 6.75” t. pottery jug is an example of Brownhills Pottery, of Tunstall, Staffordshire, England. There are a few die-impressed marks ... letters and numbers.

Very handsome hand-colored floral motifs, with a bamboo figural handle. Orange-peel background, in the Chinese manner. Some rubbing to the coloring on the rim.

Faint line across the base, which is barely visible inside. Otherwise, no nicks, hairlines, chips or repairs.
