This beautiful mottled perinkle blue example of General Ceramics' artware line "Carillon China" is a 10.75" x 8" x 3.75" t. oval basket, with a low-relief decoration of a cluster of fruit, including grapes and peach, and graceful pierced handle. The decorations (and other details) have also been gilt on this example. No nicks, chips, hairlines, or repairs. Made in the late 1930s or early 1940s. Marked with the inkstamp CARILLON CHINA USA and bell logo. |
