This luscious mini is 2-7/8" t. and begs to be caressed and studied. It's a Rookwood vase, design 6319F, dated XXXII (for 1932). Glazed in an almost iridescent or lustrous celadon green, very Chinese in appearance--in the art deco manner--and reminiscent of the earlier glaze experiments at Rookwood called "nacreous." No nicks, chips, scratches, hairlines, or repairs. Simply wonderful. |
