SPECIAL ART SHOW DAVE CALVER
Special art shows and exhibitions also have a place at Route 66 WEST. Opening January 9, 2009 is a show of DAVE CALVER'S work DARK STORIES. This mysterious and dark collection of published original art by this well known artist and illustrator will remain on display throughout january and into Modernism Week here in glamorous Palm Springs, and will close February 21, 2009. Come have some wine and cheese with us if you're in the area on January 9, 2009...from 5pm til 9pm, and meet Dave Calver and get a glimpse of these realistic yet surreal film noir pulp fiction style drawings inspired by 1940's and 50's llustrative styles!
