Offered here is a fine French Louis-Philippe mirror in gold and silver gilt. It is in the typical form with the rounded corners at the top and straight on the bottom. There is a beaded edge on the interior of the frame. In addition, there is an interesting carved floral and foliage motif carved into the frame all the way around it. Naturally there is some wear to the frame, which only adds to the beauty and the lustre of an early piece. The frame measures 24" by 32" approximately.
Offered here is a stunning, hand carved gilt wood hanging fixture with carved birds with upswept wings on the four corners of the fixture. There are four panels of glass (one is missing) surrounded by c-scrolls, an elaborate ceiling cap, as well as a similar one on the bottom. It is early 20th century I would say. The fixture is approximately 14" top to bottom, 10" across at the bottom and 13" across at the top approximately. What a find and what a great look this has! Needs ...click for details
This item is as I bought it. I don't know what it may have been part of, although it does not have a rough bottom that would have indicated that it was cut off of something. It is pressed brass and has lovely green oxidation and traces of old gilding. The figure represented may be a deity, since he wears a rather important looking headdress. The bust is 3" not including the stand. Measured on the stand it bust is 4.75" high.
Offered here is a very attractive smallish early Georgian (1730-1760) sideboard or server that would work well in almost any setting. The 2nd tier has 2 winged female forms with candle cups held aloft. The top tier has a cherub with a candle cup on his head. The candelabra measures 14" high and has a span of ap ...click for details

This is a fabulous early piece, a very large wrought iron easel for a painting or a print. It is stationary, it does not fold up, nor is the finial removable. It is heavy and very sturdy. The easel is 38.5" high and measures 21.5" at the very bottom. It has two arms to hold art work, and these are welded to the cross bar at the bottom. These extend 3.5" from the cross bar, so will hold a frame of some generous dimensions. The arms turn up at the front to prevent the art work ...click for details
