Offered here is an 18th century English Chippendale style chair having a carved wheat motif on the crest and slats, and knees. The arms have curved grips, the cabriole legs terminate in pad feet and have a stretcher base. The chair is in excellent condition, and has some old repairs. It has a lovely patina.
Fabulous colors! This English majolica compote has leaves and vines and Foxgloves in the bowl and on the base in colors of lime green, emerald green, hot pink and fuschia, brown vines on a cobalt blue ground. It's gorgeous. It is also in good condition. There is some light rubbing around the edge and some of the high spots. Dates to late 19th century, is 9.5" in diameter and stands about 5" high.
