Here we have a fine porcelain soup bowl, probably by Spode, circa 1810-1820. Stunning hand enameling in red and gilt enamel on a white ground with a scalloped edge. There are no losses to the enameling and no chips, cracks or repairs. The bowl is 9" in diameter. Purchased from Frank McCall.
Offered here is an early Mason's ironstone china basin and pitcher in the lively Bandana pattern. The pattern is busy with foo lions and chariots and clouds in black and white on red. The pitcher has a serpent handle with a lion head. The rim of the pitcher and the basin, as well as the lion head is a light gold color, not gilt enamel. The basin measures 11" in diameter and is about 3.5" deep. The jug is about 7.5" in height. Both pieces have the Mason's Patent Irons ...click for details
Here we have a fine early creamware plate in a flower basket motif. The colors and design of this plate are similar to delftware pieces of the same period. On a cream ground, the colors are ochre, blue and sage green. The condition is very fine. There are a few gaps in the glaze along the edge and a smudge under the glaze on the edge, all of which appear to be in the making. The underside has a peppery looking discoloration in places. No cracks, chips or repairs. 9" in diameter.

Fabulous colors! This English majolica compote has leaves and vines and Foxgloves in the bowl and on the base in colors of lime green, emerald green, hot pink and fuschia, brown vines on a cobalt blue ground.
