This is an interesting bust that came my way just the other day. It is dated 1903. There is quite a bit inscribed on the shoulder area, some of it written in French, but I have been unable to make out most of it so I suggest you have a go at it and, if you figure it out, let me know. The dimensions are 22" across at the shoulders and a little over 15" to the top of the head. It's really quite nice...wish I knew more.
Well, this is nothing if not interesting. I've never seen so many naked bodies on one candelabra in my life! This item is solid bronze with 9 arms, 3 tiers, cherubs and other winged figures held up by 4 anatomically correct naked men. The column has a triangular section that has 3 cherub heads with wings.
