Offered here is one or a pair of fine English sterling master salt spoons. The maker is Walter Brind, a prolific maker of good holloware. The mark dates them to 1794-95. They each have a coat of arms engraved on the front. 4 1/8" in length, excellent condition. Priced individually. (One is now sold.)
Offered here are 4 sterling silver small bowls by London makers John Aldwinkle and Thomas Slater, hallmarked for 1891-92. The bowls are very ornate and have a lobed form with repousse decoration all around the circumference in 3 different motifs. The bowl is raised on 4 feet that are applied to the sides of the bowl. The bowls are heavy for their size. They are 3.5" in diameter and stand 1.5" high. Some don't sit completely level on a surface.
