This is a very pretty Windsor chair in early black paint. My favorite part of the chair is the hand carved stiles on the back that are curved back so carefully but are still slightly irregular. The chair is sturdy and the legs do not wobble. Seat height is 17", back height is 33" at the center point. The legs, sides and stiles are bamboo turned, and the legs have a nice little splay to them. This is a charming country chair.

The tin liner is not new but is likely a replacement from some point in it's history. It measures 44" across, 14" deep and is 36" high. Overall it is in excellent condition. The only flaw is a c ...click for details
