Offered here is a stunning, hand carved gilt wood hanging fixture with carved birds with upswept wings on the four corners of the fixture. There are four panels of glass (one is missing)surrounded by c-scrolls, an elaborate ceiling cap, as well as a similar one on the bottom. The lamp is in "as found" condition...literally. I have not cleaned it (I guess probably ought to), and it will need to be rewired. There is some gesso showing through in places, though not objectionably so. ...click for details
Offered here is one of the loveliest lamps you are likely to find anywhere. Aqua blue glass, hand enameled in wildflowers all around, on a figural bronze base. The lamp has been fitted with a new silk shade. Excellent condition, 33" to the top of the finial.
