Offered here is a pair of of lamps made from 19th century famille rose vases. They are truly lovely, with fabulous color and form and interesting domestic scenes around the circumference of the vase. They are matched (but sold individually), and have new hand made silk shades. Excellent condition. They are 24" to the top of the shade and approximately 8" in diameter at the widest point.
Offered here is a stunning, hand carved gilt wood hanging fixture with carved birds with upswept wings on the four corners of the fixture. There are four panels of glass (one is missing)surrounded by c-scrolls, an elaborate ceiling cap, as well as a similar one on the bottom. The lamp is in "as found" condition...literally. I have not cleaned it (I guess probably ought to), and it will need to be rewired. There is some gesso showing through in places, though not objectionably so. ...click for details
