Offered here is a fine cast bronze figure of an angel on a wooden base. It is a beautiful casting with delicate detailing and graceful form. The wings are attached from the inside...somehow. The statue stands over 13" on the base. It is very heavy. The only flaw I see in the statue is that the angel appears to have once had something under her right foot. Whatever it was is no longer there. I would say this dates to the early 20th century. It is not marked.
This is a splendid bronze wax seal by French sculptor, Marcel Bonnot, 1920. It is a full figure of a scowling cat draped over the top of the seal. Rich, deep patina, finest detail. 3 1/2" high, impressed mark on the side (see pictures), no other marks. Outstanding in every respect.
