Offered here is a most handsome table that is basically octagon in shape with a beautifully formed top and a fine leather surface. It is raised on eight legs with carved knees and pad feet. It is mahogany. The table was made around 1910 and may be English. It is in excellent condition and measures 25" square and is 33" high.
Offered here is a fine little Victorian armchair in a harlequin pattern fabric in shades of purple and cream that give the chair a very up to date and stylish look. The chair stands alone as a beauty, having flowing lines and lovely form, but the fabric really makes it young and fun. It is in excellent condition and the fabric is new.
Offered here is a large oval papier mache' tray table set into a conforming faux bamboo stand. The table has a lovely hand painted motif of various flowers, including roses, with some of the leaves having mother of pearl overlay. The measurements are 32" by 21" and 17" high. The tray is in very fine condition, however one of the curved bracket pieces at the top of the leg is missing. The tray does not lift out of the stand, it is built in.
The title says it all in this case. The wing chair dates to about 1970 and was well cared for but has that wonderful look and feel that you only get when a leather piece has age. It's a big chair well suited to a big man, but is curling up size for a woman. Very luxurious.
Here we have a wonderful, large sideboard with old, not original, paint in a chippy medium blue color. It has side doors with shelves and two center shelves for display. A soapstone top with a beveled edge was added at some point. It has a wonderful, folky look. It measures 70" by 25" by 39".
This is an adorable small tri-cornered table with a cloverleaf top that I found on a recent trip. I was smitten with it's wonderful small size and interesting form. It's a sturdy little piece and could easily be used as a stool to sit on. It stands 19" high and is more or less 19" across from the widest point.
A little footstool like this has a million other uses besides just looking scrumptious wherever you put it. Personally, I can think of nothing more important than that, however you might find it a good place to leave your book beside your chair; you can put your drink there (use a coaster please); all cats like footstools like this, and small dogs might; put your foot up on it to tie your shoe...you see, the list is endless.

Offered here is a beautiful little round French walnut table. There is extensive use of inlay, predominately on the top where the inlay radiates out from the center like rays from the sun. Inlay decorates the base, the drawer and string inlay on the tapered legs and on the low shelf. The drawer is dovetailed, and the drawer bottom and the bottom of the base are replacements. The table stands 28" high, and the top is 20" in diameter.
Offered here are two painted French fauteuils upholstered in a fabulous geometric needlepoint. Each chair is in excellent condition. Each measures 33" at the back, 19" deep and 21" across (inside the arms). The chairs are sold individually.
First let me say that photos, truly, do not do this chair justice. The colors and patina are absolutely wonderful and, try as I did, I was unable to show it accurately. This wonderful fauteuil, in original paint, is a faded red coral color with gilt edges. The upholstery, though not original, is perfectly suited to the chair in a Fortuny style print of shaded coral on khaki. The carved back piece is in the form of a hot air balloon. The wear is perfection. Gesso shows through small chips o ...click for details
