This is an excellent oil on board, English, late 19th-early 20th century. The frame is new. It is signed TL in the lower left hand corner, but I have not been able to attribute the painting to any particular artist. Excellent condition. As framed it is 12" by 14". Site dimensions are 7" by 9 1/2".
When I bought this painting I first thought, Oh good, I can clean this right up with my new cleaning stuff! But I looked at it for a little while and decided I quite like it just as it is. This is a fine early 20th century oil painting depicting an interior of a stable with three horses: two white and one black standing at manger and chewing hay. The heads of the horses have been beautifully painted, capturing the anatomical details with perfection. The painting is in good condition but with some repair on the head of the black horse, visible only upon close inspection. The giltwood frame is modern and in very good condition. This is a charming vintage oil on canvas of a landscape with a castle and boaters on a river. Early 20th century. The painting is in a modern frame. The condition is very good. There is a tiny area of paint loss in the upper left edge and the lower middle edge. Measurements are 12.75" by 16.75" in the frame.

Offered here is a wonderful modern oil painting of a bulldog after Francis C. Fairman,(1836-1923 British), known for his wonderful portraits of dogs. Solid wood frame in black with gold. Outside frame measures 15 1/2 x 19 1/2, image is 12" by 16". The painting is unsigned. It is in excellent condition.

Here we have an early 19th century painting of a young child, or putti with red curls, piercing brown eyes, very much of the Italian school (although English school is written on the back).
