Here we have an early 19th century painting of a young child, or putti with red curls, piercing brown eyes, very much of the Italian school (although English school is written on the back). The coloration in the painting is beautiful. The child has creamy pale skin and the face is wonderful. It is framed in a contemporary baroque style frame.
